Martin St-Louis for sure....
He was on pace to have a career year in the 2001-02 when his season ended prematurely due to a broken leg. In 2003-04 he led the NHL in scoring with 94 points. He scored an overtime goal in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, helping the Tampa Bay Lightning defeat the Calgary Flames for the Stanley Cup. At season's end he won both the Hart Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player to his team and the Lester B. Pearson Award as league MVP voted by his peers. St-Louis became the first player since Wayne Gretzky and only the eighth in NHL history, to win the Art Ross Trophy, the Stanley Cup, and the Hart Memorial Trophy all in one season.
Therefore, he is in my opinion the best undrafted NHL player
... I was also inspired by the Rafalski article on nhl.com

Technically Wayne Gretzky wasn't drafted by an NHL team. But I'm guessing that's not really the answer you were looking for and I'm not going to name all the Europeans who came in the mid 70's so I will say Martin St Louis. He may be small but he has won the Art Ross, Lester B Pearson, Hart, played in all star games, and let's not forget his key role in helping Tampa Bay win their first ever Stanley Cup.

Of the older guys, Joe Mullen or Dino Ciccarelli
Current players Dan Boyle or Marty St Louis

I wanna say Rafalski because he's a Red Wing and a Michigan native, but I'm going to say Marty St. Louis... notice a common theme there... height doesn't matter then too much eh.

Alex Burrows. . . may be I'm a bit bias here. He does penalty kill, adds energy, and was the only Canuck that actually worked and put in his effort when his team was in a slump. Oh yeah, he also plays against most top lines of the opposing team.
