Why don't cons support the judgment of their candidate?
McCain supports Obama's plan to get out of Iraq. He's also a war hero. Are other cons just being obstructionists?

Republicans are like a ship lost at sea without a rudder.
whatever they propose sounds like ....hey wasnt that what bush was doing??? and presto..its ridiculed.
that jindahl character is the butt of jokes.
He tried to use the Katrina moment as a reason for americans to listen to Republicans and vote for them....lol something about personal responsibility is enough to save an americans city being destroyed by a once in 200 years natural disaster. ROFL

Another confused person.
con = conservative.
Who said that McCain was the con's candidate.
McCain was generally thought of as the republican candidate.
Conservativism is an ideology (A set of doctrines or beliefs that form the basis of a political, economic, or other system).
Actually to be truthful, most conservatives were not happy with McCain, even though he was the choice of the republican party. Most thought he was to left leaning.
Please get over your ignorance.

Because unlike libs, we are not mindless robots who follow the party candidate no matter what they do. We have the ability of rational thought and if our candidate does something we don't like, we are not afraid to show our displeasure with them. That is why McCain lost the presidency. He went against the party beliefs and tried to be the first person to win the president without his base. He failed miserably and now we will have the worst president since Carter.
Hows that for an answer?

Hey stupid, Bush already put the plan in motion. It has been the conservative’s game plan to get out once the surge met its objectives. Yeah, the surge, the plan that was McCain’s doing, the plan that he proposed and one that succeeded and the plan that Barry voted against. You Imbecile.

When you bother to read the real and full story, the rest of us will be glad to comment. You can't parse and present it as fact. The question has been asked and answered millions of times over on this site..with the amazing new technology called SEARCH. Once you do that..you read SEVERAL versions of the story and come to a conclusion. But if you have a permanent partisan wedgie, it's going to be a problem for you.

Unlike Dems Cons think for themselves and have their own opinions. Just so yah know McCain lost therefor is no longer the Republican candidate. Where did you get the idea McCain represented conservative thought?

I am not sure I understand your question.
McCain is no longer a candidate, the election is over.
Unless I am mistaken, there are no elections for Federal offices this year.
