What parallels to qi exist in other non-Chinese cultures?
Qi, the concept of a vital breath, motive force, and moral will in Chinese culture, has parallels in other cultures as well. From my research, I have found a few other similar concepts: Num (in Africa), Prana (India), Pneuma (Greece), and Ha (Huna: Hawaii). I've read something about a parallel existing in the Koran (possibly called Nafas?), but I can't seem to find too much information about it.
Can anyone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated!

well, i cant say, but, to me it sounds like souls
i looked up qi and it does seem a little remenioscant of a soul
but, im not very clued up on it
