Spiritually speaking, what is your most recent question and/or answer violation in R&S?

Please post a copy of the violation(s) in your answer.

Personally, do you think Y!A is doing a satisfactory job at maintaining this website or the R&S section? Do you think violations are petty, unnecessary and inaccurate - or do you think they are mostly accurate and necessary?

Update:

Here are my most recent violations:

Deleted Question: Christians, do you find Miley Cyrus to be a good role model for youth within the context of Christianity?

Question Details:

Violation Reason:Community Guidelines and/or Terms Of Service Violation

-------------

Question: Sarah Palin: Yay or Nay?

Deleted Answer: Eww.

My most recent guestion deletion was as follows

    Q. Why ask atheists questions and then ignore all answers from atheists?

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about-(link to question asked of atheists where 20 answers from atheists are ignored and best answer was given to the one theist that answered)

    Reason: none given

The funny thing is I asked and resolved this question two weeks before it was deleted.

Question: If Christians are not allowed to judge others, why do they call other Christians "not true Christians" ?

Question Details: Isn't a Christian that calls another Christian "not a true Christian" judging? And thus disqualifying himself from being a true Christian?

Deleted Answer: Because, their brain hemispheres are not in a sync with spoken words,

In another words ¨´´the right hand has no clue, what is the left doing´´

How did i violate the ToS?

  • My Most Recent:

Deleted question: One of the most devastating questions for atheists.lets see if you can answer it?

Question Details: Why do cords, wires, ropes etc. tangle themselves up so efficiently?

Violation Reason: Community Guidelines and/or Terms Of Service Violation

Sheesh......... it was just a fun, but I even lost an appeal. My personal opinion is that Y!A is doing a poor job at maintaining the R & S section, most importantly because it can't contain Report Monkeys.

But over the whole of Y!A, its doing a good job.

Violations are necessary, but most of them are inaccurate.

I was kind of disappointed that this was deleted, as some people need to hear that they are, in fact, ignorant. The question was a pointless rant... and I was simply correcting her.

Question: This is a question about Obama?

Question Details: Why do people think he's Black? He's Arab. It really aggravates me. Kids in my HIGH SCHOOL walk around going "Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama." When I ask them why they like him they go "He black." When I inform them that he's Arab, they reply "Well, he dark." Are you serious? Please get it right. He's not the first African-American in the White House. He's the first Arab-American.

Deleted Answer: You sound quite ignorant. Maybe you should start using Yahoo Answers to ask questions and get information, as opposed to spreading misinformation. Consider this: His father is a black African from Kenya. His mother is as white as you. He was born in America. In what world does that make the man Arab? You should ask yourself why you feel the need to lie about this. What difference does it make? What do you get out of telling people a lie? It is disappointing that I am receiving thumbs down for this answer. The ignorance on Y!A is astounding.

I guess I need to be a little less hostile. But, sometimes it feels good to be hostile, lol.

A while ago, someone posted a question about how some kid in a high school biology class stood up against his teacher and complained about an evolution lesson. He went on and on about how evolution is false and the kid did such a great thing by saying it, or something like that.

My answer was this: "You're right. Who needs the agreement of 99.9% of biologists when we have the opinion of a high school junior?"

It was deleted for the same reason as yours. Terms of Service violation.

Here is the letter I received when I tried to fight the VN, the content that was removed being shown in the letter.

    --------------------

    Subject: Question Deletion

Additional Information: Deleted Question: What is it, that Men

experience, about 210 times in their lives?

I don't see this question as being validly removed. I was asking a

question about Men's Health, and as stated in my supporting

comments, was doing it as health trivia.

As for it being reported. Last night someone sent me an Instant Message

insisting I tell them the answer to my question. When I refused, they

said they felt that, since I wouldn't give them the answer, they

wanted the question removed. It, at least, appears that my question was

reported simply to spite me for not being dishonest and supplying

someone with the answer to the question/not volunteering to give that

user "Best Answer". I thought it was kinda sad someone would

act so desperate for Best Answer.

The Instant Messenger ID was "sumeetbali81". The person told

me, they didn't have a Yahoo! Answers account, didn't like

answering questions, but desperately wanted to know, where I lived, how

old I was and what the answer to the question, they supposedly

didn't want to answer, was. Meanwhile, the person with no Y!A

account, claimed I was in violation of the rules of Yahoo! Answers.

    ----------------------------

    It was on/around October 12th.

In my experience, the majority of invalid reports are overturned, if you just email the text to the customer care folks. 'course, I haven't had a violation notice in a few months (and have only had like about a dozen).

Anyway, here's a deleted (and later restored) answer from nearly 10 months ago, because my most recently restored ones kinda sucked.

Question: athiests, why are you opressing your women and saying muslims are opressed??

Question Details: Feminists protest originated in the west, yet they point at muslim women and say they are being opressed?? [Big long rant and various links removed for the sake of your scrollwheel.]

Deleted Answer: Try this again when radical feminists are raped for not wearing the correct piece of clothing, or walking without a male escort.

Violation Reason:Not a Question or Answer

both unnecessary and inaccurate. I had an answer I gave removed because I told someone to get a life and that they were hopless. Apparently that was way more insulting than a question I saw earlier the same day where a girl accused all atheists of being immoral and disrespectful and that all atheists must think hitler was right. Do you believe that? What a jip.
