I REALLY don't like the idea of aborting the babies when they're

as far along as it sounds they are. Cats are usually pregnant 60-65

days. Some times a little earlier, sometimes a little later, but never

earlier than 55 days. If they are not born by day 75, then something is

probably wrong and the mom needs to be taken to the vet. Since she

is a stray (or was a stray), you should probably take her to the vet and

get her checked for various diseases. Some signs that she's very soon

to giving birth are she will be looking for a nice cozy, quiet place to

have them, she might start dripping milk from her teats and you might

be able to feel the babies moving a lot inside her.

I hope everything goes well and you are soon the proud owner of

some sweet little fur balls. Have fun and best wishes!!!

Cats give birth 65-69 days after the date of conception. You should really have a vet take a look at her so he can tell how many kittens she's going to have so you'll know when she's done with labor. You can still even have her spayed, which would be the best thing you could do. It's just a premature c-section where the kittens and uterus are removed. The kittens won't survive but at least they won't end up in a shelter where they'll likely be put down. As for signs she's ready to have the kittens, she probably won't eat the day she has them and she'll either hide from you or be clingy depending on her personality.

The avarage length of feline pregnancy is 63-65 days - around nine weeks - but kittens may be born as early as 58 days or as late as 70 days gestation.

About 45 days until they are born.
