How could you have your answer selected as the best?

Well provide quality information that sounds mature. Don't use words like stuff, fun, or JK, LOL, OMG, etc. And if you answer a question and it goes to In Voting, then vote for your answer. This question seems odd coming from a top contributor on the site. To get your answer selected as the best answer, you need to provide the best information according to the user who asked the question. Otherwise, it's possible that it will be voted on and selected as best by people reading resolved questions.

You can't control what the other person chooses as best answer. However, if the question is put to vote you could vote for yourself. but obviously you would loose if there is more than 2 poeple voting, unless they all vote for you.
