How old is the oldest cat ?
I know the average age is up to 18 yrs or so..My moms cat is almost 23 yrs old..Does anyone know how old is the oldest living cat or how the record for cats to live?

Indoor cats usually live for 15-20 years. While an outdoor cat usually lives for around 3-7 years.
The longest I have heard a cat live for was 34 years! It was in a book I read about cats

I had a friend once that had a cat live to be 26. Idk...Maybe check the guiness book of world records to find an exact age? Let me know what you find out!

18 years is NOT average, that is way old
probably the average is 9 for an indoor cat and 5 for an outdoor.
I would say the oldest cat would be in the high 20s

I had one that lived to 24 and my 21 yr old died just this year.
I read on the internet one that was around 32 or something like that... but a bit hard to prove.
