The mechanism of your injury would lead me to believe that you have a 'whiplash' type injury. This, in a minor form, just involves spasm to the muscles in the neck. However, in its severest form - there can be damage to the ligaments in the neck which can require specialist follow up. Occasionally, the bones of the neck can be damaged by the action of the injury.
I would not advise you to see a chiropractor until you have let a Dr look at your neck, you may need to have xrays and if these were inconclusive you might require a scan.
Had you only developed neck pain after getting out of bed for instance, i wouldn't advise any of this but you have had a jarring type injury and you should get it looked at properly.

U need to go to a chiropractor.Seriously.It's been 2 days,so it could be something displaced or rubbing because of the shock.Nothing to panic about but only a pro can help fixing it and ease the pain.
