Whats the last good book you've read?

I honestly cannot find a good book to read, its becoming irritating because books are the only thing that past the time for me.

Update:

A truly good book, one that you could read over and over and never get tired of and please no series.

Im not into sci-fi and romantic books just for the record.

Thanks in advance to all who answer.

The last book not in a series (since the very last one I read was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling) that I liked was:

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon. I recommend it, although it's not exactly the genres I like, so it wasn't my favorite - but it's quite thought-provoking..

It's written from the perspective of a 15-year-old autistic boy who is having struggles with his family while trying to solve a murder mystery.

"The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan! It's amazing, if you haven't read it you definitely should. It made me laugh and cry, it's so heartfelt and very deep.
