Question about cat and her kittens? Kinda urgent?

My cat had kittens & they are 10 days old. She's not producing any milk, won't eat, or drink milk. The kittens will not drink the milk replacement from the bottle or dropper. We are taking them to the vet tomorrow, but is there anything to do right now?

Update:

mom is not vomiting

Update 2:

the mom was producing, now she isn't.

Yikes. She must be producing some milk or the kittens would already be dead. If the kittens won't nurse on the bottle, use a dropper. Be sure the replacement milk is fresh and warm. Test it on your wrist just like you would for a baby. Put a drop or two in the corner of the kitten's mouth with the kitten belly down on your lap. You might even try offering it to them over the mom's side. Even if the kitten tries to refuse it, a small amount will most likely go down. Keep trying and keep the kittens warm. I would urge you to recontact your vet and see if he/she couldn't see the kittens right away.

I used to supplement my kittens if the queen wasn't producing enough milk for the whole litter and I think the hardest part of trying to bottle feed is getting the right flow out of the nipple. I tried many different varieties of baby animal bottles and the best I ever found was from the local farm store. The nipples were small and just right for kitten mouths. Good luck. purrs

The vet can help you the most. The mother cat has something wrong with her. The vet can help her with shots. Could be she has an infection. The vet can give you dropper or medicine dropper that looks like a needle, but with no end on it. The kittens will fight, but will eat when they get use to it and are old enough. Remember to burp them(rub their backs until they burp), and wash their bottoms with a soft, damp cloth so they go bathroom. You have a big job a head of you as the kittens will let you know every three or four hours they are hungry. A crying baby means it is hungry or needs burping to get the air off it's tummy.

try them on goat milk, and try giving mom baby food. puree chicken mixed with the goat milk. and there is a longer nipple i use its about an inch and a half long, the kittens will almost swallow it as they drink it is better for them .

If you have a tiny oral syringe, you can force feed them by going past their tongue in the side of their mouth. Do only a couple drops at a time.

you shouldn't let your cat have any more kittens.what you can try is heating up the milk.
