I have just started to run and jog every couple days, along with my mma training. today i was grappling and twisted my knee and now i can't put alot of weight on it it feels like it's going to buckle, the pain is on the inside of my knee, just to the side of the knee cap could somebody tell me what ligament or what the possible injury could be.
Yeah it's a sharp pain I can barely walk and doc is out of the question for now I don't hve health INS.
ok now today it feels alot better i can put more weight onto it and walk with out a whole lot of pain could this of been a possible pinched nerve, or maybe an outstretched ligament. sorry if i sound ignorant i don't know too much about this type of injury.

Oh boy... that sounds like an ACL(Anterior Cruciate Ligament) tear. I can imagine the pain is pretty unbearable so I'd suggest taking 800mg's of Motrin, try to keep your weight off of it... You can purchase some crutches at a local medical supply store. About not having health insurance (which a lot of families/individuals cannot afford nowadays.. It's very common. Don't feel bad!), I'd suggest an outpatient clinic... and they can determine the severity of your injury. I'm suggesting the outpatient clinic since their on the more affordable side than say heading out to a hospital. Good luck and Here's hoping it's just a strain/sprain injury. Here's a few reputable websites that you can use as guidelines..

Sorry, but a doctor is your only real answer. You need an ultrasound and/or x-ray most likely.
Knees are messy, things all linked around each other. If you don't treat this now, consider your training in mma and grappling pretty much over.
Once you damage your knee once, it will happen again. My knee cap has gone out 4 times over the last 2 years. All because of one bump.
I know you dont have health insurance, but you should considering your physical activity. For events like this.

Ice it after any bodily acitivity. Strength teach the muscle groups across the knee, thighs, calves and so forth. upload extra calcium on your nutrition. Try to strenght teach in a pool as you get balanced resistance.
