Information on how to "can" jam?

We found a GREAT recipe this weekend in Cooking Light. We are thinking about canning it and giving it as gifts later in the year. Since it uses strawberries, we can't hold off on making it since they're currently in season. Anyway, were would I find information on how to can jam and preserves? Have you done it before? Is it easy?

Oh, and the recipe is http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn... if you're interested.

Thanks!

You will most likely have to use "Sure Jell" in it, & a pamphlet comes in every box, telling you how to can almost every kind of jam or jelly. Last time I checked, it also told how to make less sugar Jam. It's all right there, & yes, I can jams & jellies all the time. You can buy "Sure Jell in any regular grocery store (not convenience stores). Hope this helps & Happy Jamming.
