Used to make them to decorate the wedding vehicle.

I haven't saw those since I was in Brownie Girl Scouts. I had totally forgotten about those. My mother would put those on the dining room table .

Probaby not. I wonder if Kleenex has noticed the drop in business since China started importing all the plastic flowers that are now used for decorations?

I haven't seen Kleenex flowers for a long time. It might be fun to get some green pipe stems and show the grand kids how to make them.

I think that tradition may have bit the dust. It's been many years since I saw kleenex flowers on the bride & groom's car. The string of cans were tied to the back bumper of the car too. When was the last time you saw the bride & groom's car with those on it?

I made one for my Mother as a Mother's Day gift. I sprayed it full of her perfume & stapled it between to pieces of paper that I had colored to be wrapping paper.

When she died, I found this flower in her closet in the same wrapping envelope. I think this find meant more to me then than than it could have in her life time.

We used to make Kleenex carnations for our moms on Mothers' Day.

(OK, OK! We weren't well off and Mom always said something made with love was better than store bought--and we believed it!)

*I have not done that since the 70's for a wedding. We made them to tape on the bride and grooms car.

No, I have used the different colors of gift wrap tissue paper.

I don't think too many people do that anymore, but I remember making them when I was a kid, they were quick and easy to make.

I had a friend who could make those. She would pin them in her daughters hair. I wish I was talented like that. Poppy
