Need information on Avent Bottles BPA free for Newborns.?

I bought the avent bottles BPA free for my child. I'm a first time mom due in August. I've read all kinds of reviews about these bottles leaking. Has anyone used these and had any experience with leaking. These bottles are expensive and don't have much money to buy something else. I'm on a tight budget.

I used Avent bottles and they didn't leak at first. After awhile they did start leaking, but I think they just got fussy. They had to be screwed on just right. Sometimes it takes a few times of screwing and unscrewing the top to get it. But eventually you do.

So, there is no reason to go buy new bottles.

    Good luck!

I didnt purchase avent no need to spend that kind of money..there are plenty of cheaper brands that work just as well and do not leak. Try NUBY they sell them at walmart and babies r us..they have never leaked for me only one bottle out of 12 I bought leaked so i threw it away. Its less than 10 bucks for a 3 pack, and they are BPA free.

Playtex ventaire leak alot out the bottom n the numbers wear off.

If your looking for glass try evenflo they are cheaper n dont leak very much either but i found the nipple flo to be a little fast for my baby. Gerber makes glass ones too that hav a good flow.

I had more problems with the Dr. Brown's leaking than the avent. Biggest thing is to make sure you have them screwed on right and make sure the nipple is pulled through the cap correctly. My bf found out the hard way and he lost an entire bottle b/c of the cap not being screwed on right.

avent has the bottle on there website . I haven't found them in stores yet but I'm in Canada. If you Can't find the BPA free avent they also have the drop in kind or there is also Gerber GentleFlow they are BPA free it's a copy of avent the only thing I don't like is they come with medium flow nipples but the avent nipples fit so I bought a 3 pack of bottles for $12.00 and the 2 packs of avent nipple.

I have used these with a little Downs Syndrome baby that I look after on occasion and have not had a problem.

Avent is a reputable company, contact them directly to see what their return policy is.

I used them and they were ok. You have to screw them on just right or they will leak. Good luck and congrats!
