I reccommend you go see a doctor now so if it is cancer then you can catch it early. I wish you much luck and i pray that it is not cancer!

Lumps are extremely obvious. Think of it as a small rock in amongst a bunch of grapes. The breasts are lumpy and have texture. This is the grape type feeling. They often go lumpy just before a period is due, so wait until afterwards to check the breast for lumps. Anyway, if you are feeling grapes then feel a rock, it's pretty obvious you are not feeling a grape. It is solid and there is no mistaking it. So don't worry.
Discharge could be anything really. Get it checked out anyway. Mention that you have a family history as it makes it more likely, but discharge alone does not equal cancer, only if it was bloody should you worry.

Good thing that your seen a doctor for your breast lumps, re the discharge could be breast milk I do too have that problem milk discharge and its been like this for 5 years now, just milk I have my mammograms done every year and the breast discharge check and send to the lab every year as well, and 2 of my aunts have die of breast cancer there's a test that you can have its very extensive but that test can provide you with information if there's any cancer cells in your body But u have to Qualified and you will because of your family cancer history I hope that you have insurance because this test is very expensive but its worth it if u don't have insurance they will provide for you to get it financially until then try not to worry or stress out all of my test where negative,But I still have my physicals and mammograms every year
Best of luck

make an appointment for your annual gyno visit or with your general practitioner. even if it is a bit early. talk to the doc and let them do a breast exam.
i quit breastfeeding about a year ago and every once in a while, especially if they are being played with, i'll get some milk-like discharge.

I hate to say this but your chances are higher if it runs in your family. Stay strong and wait to see what the doctor says. I wish you the best of luck.
