What do medical assistants make? Is it worth the training?
I'm a busy mom of 2 little ones and I want to make a career change, but not sure of the best decision. I want something in the medical field, but I have a full time job, so training has to offer night or online classes. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Medical Assistants aren't really in high demand. So I'm not sure if it would be worth your time. However CNA-I training takes like 1 semester and I'm a CNA-I and I work through an In home care facility were you stay with elderly people in there homes. I'm in school currently to become an RN and I work full time as a CNA, I've took night classes, day classes and online classes, you could just check with the school you are looking into going to and speak with the Health Science Advice and see what he or she can do for ya. Hope this helps ya some :)

I am in school to be a medical assistant right now. They make close to 30,000 a year, or more, but sometimes less, depending on where you live.

According to payscale.com the average yearly income is around $25,000 at entry level. Sometimes employers will reimburse you your education expenses for courses like this, its something to look into!
