What can I do to help my kitten?
She's pregnant and according to my husband she already had one but it wasn't alive and it's in the middle of the night here so I'm going to stay up for another hour or so to keep a watch on her but if she needs help I have no clue what I need to do. None of my cats had kittens so this is the first time for me.

keep watch on her yes..but whatever you do DON'T INTERFERE pleease even if it looks stuck just dont do anything once my mum tryed to pull it out because it looked stuck and the ombelical cord ripped and the kitten died :( just leave it..watch if you want though..your cat will know what to do, it bursts the sack thing around it and licks it clean, and does that with all the kittens. you can get a nice comfy bed ready for them though!

1st, are you sure she is still carrying any unborn kittens? She may have only had the one. Examine her by firmly but gently pushing on and around her stomach to see if you feel anymore. Is she still panting like she is in labor? If she is and you feel more kittens I would call a 24 hour vet emergency clinic if it has been going on for more than 4 hours or so and ask their opinion. Sometimes a cat can give birth to one or more kit on one day and then finish giving birth to more a day or two later so if she seems okay don't worry about it now. Good luck!
