I have a suspected ACL tear. Can a family physician diagnose it?

Do I need to see a specialist to find out what sort of injury has effected my knee or can any licensed MD diagnose it?

A family md can suspect it, you need an orthopedic specialist and an mri to get a definite diagnosis.
