HVAC question; Should I be able to see light around my front door?

yes it wold affect your cost get your land lord to fix it or if you are a handy man you could get weather stripping and fix it your self.

Yes, it will affect it if it is an exterior door. You need weatherstripping but don't count on the management to do this. You can get some pretty cheap at any home improvement store. Get the foam strip that has a sticky back you just peel and stick.

Correct, you should not be able to see light around the edges of the door. This could indicate the door needs to be adjusted, or the weather stripping/seal needs to be replaced.

Call your maintenance staff, and ask them to have a look at it...even if they have to replace the weather seal, it will only take a few minutes.

Clerks at places such as Home Depot and Ace Hardware will show you the type you need for your door.

that would depend on your front door if you have a unsealable front door the answer is yes but if you have a seal-able front door the answer is no. do you have a radon detector or better yet do you have a Brain? if you don't have either one of these items i strongly recommend you get them as soon as possible lol. Dude plug the holes!

it just lets a big portion of the cold air go outside to cool down the breezeway,i'm sure your good with that---right? yeah i bet you help the power company out a lot,it doesn't hurt the airflow it helps it --go right out side its like a vacuum once it hits that door it creates a vacuum and pulls the cold air through
