I'm a 26 year old agnostic Dom with a very loving sub wife. I will respect you if you show that you can think for yourself. I do consider grammar to be somewhat telling of a persons intellectual capacity, though if the thought was good I can respect it anyway. I'm not interested in being religious in any way. I believe there is something else, dealing with spiritual energy in a way that we can all understand, that is yet to be fully discovered. I plan to discover it and am making progress. I enjoy working on my cars and computers and am fairly knowledgeable in both areas. If I give you an answer it's because I actually had one, not because I REALLY wanted the 2 points. Yes, you may contact me via email but I probably won't get the email for a few hours and even then I won't get it if it's not recognizable. The account that the email will go to is inundated with around a thousand spam mails weekly, so make sure your mail sticks out! "An it harm none, do as thou wilt"
Can health expenses charged to an HRA account first be charged through Medicare Part A or B?
I have a commercial insurance policy with an HRA account of $1500, to cover 4 people, and a $5000 deductible for ANY services thereafter. I also have Medicare Part A and B. The commercial policy is very likely to be canceled in March of this year, so I would prefer to not miss any opportunity to work on the Medicare deductible.
Now, I know that it typically goes private insurance first, and then Medicare for the rest, but in the case of an HRA, the private insurance really isn't covering anything -- it's just pulling money from the employer funded HRA account. Shouldn't that be able to go over to Medicare before that happens?
3 AnswersInsurance4 years agoDoes morning sunlight therapy for fixing circadian rhythm sleep disorder work through windows or do I have to be outside?
I've had problems with sleeping for years, and I usually sleep through the sunrise hours, but I'm trying to fix my sleep rhythm by making sure I get at least half an hour of early morning sunrise per day. So far, it does seem to be helping. But some days, I just don't want to be outside. Does exposure through an open patio window work as well?
2 AnswersOther - General Health Care6 years agoIf the US were to hit Pyongyang with a nuke from an Ohio Sub, would Japan, S. Korea, or China see fallout?
If you're curious, here's a map of a direct hit on Pyongyang from one of the Trident II warhead on an Ohio-class sub. Please provide sources if you choose to respond.
2 AnswersCurrent Events8 years agoWhy does my dimmer only dim a little, then cut off?
So I bought dimmable light bulbs (CFLs, 60W equivalent, max rated for the fixture) and a dimmer switch for the overhead light in our bedroom. The fixture is a 2 bulb unit. Once installed, everything works, but you can only go about halfway down on the dim before it cuts out...and it's not very dim. Just before it cuts out, it goes down to one bulb, which will cut off on its own within a few minutes. Then you have to go back to full power for them to cut back on.
I'm confused as to how to fix this problem. Is it because it's a dual-bulb fixture? Would I get full range if I went down on the wattage of the bulbs? Is this all a product of the fact that I'm plugging the fixture into the wall, which is attached to the switch? My limited knowledge of these things tells me that the latter shouldn't matter, but I really thought this setup would just work as is, too.

No guesses please, and a source would be nice.

And if not, what software do you use to determine the component in your machine that needs help the most? If not strictly software, what is your methodology?
2 AnswersDesktops1 decade agoI'm considering learning a programming language. Which one should I aim for?
The eventual goal is to be able to build a website where people trade written material on a one to one basis. For instance:
A user can only request one article before fulfilling a request themselves.
Articles must be accepted by the requester before the system gives credit for them.
After 72 hours, if the article is not declined, it is automatically accepted, and the author is given credit.
The author can then request other articles from others.
Authors are limited by IP (or something?) from creating multiple accounts.
I aim to build this system, but I don't currently know any programming language. It's hard to know where to start. I understand the basics of HTML, but usually end up Googling most of the tags.
What should my ultimate goal be here, and where do I start?

All the ones that I've caught so far were kinda stupid.

I'm not talking about special events. Just normal, everyday wear. Why wear a skirt or dress instead of pants?

By Dexter, I mean Dexter from the Showtime series.
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoTo the person on the street corner with the "SELL GOLD HERE!" sign waving at traffic...should I wave back?
Do you see it as rude or friendly when people wave back? I can see how it could feel like both and, considering that job has to suck, I wouldn't want to be condescending...
3 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoWhich pope created Christmas?
Most everyone with a brain knows that Christianity called 12/25 Christmas to help convert pagans, but I remember there being a letter from a pope where he talked about it pretty plainly. It was pretty easy to find on the web a few years ago. I don't remember which pope it was, though. Also, please link to the letter if you can. I'm sort of disturbed that it's disappeared!

Seriously? What the heck? Every once in a while eating an orange will make my teeth hurt, but smelling one?
4 AnswersDental1 decade agoAnyone know of a free web host with easy wordpress install that is okay with non-pornographic adult content?
Erotic fiction, actually. I actually found a few, but installing wordpress is like pulling teeth. Their SQL databases don't work right, or they don't allow FTP access, etc etc. Also, I don't mind dealing with ads in trade for server space, but enormous ads that take up a quarter of the screen and move with you when you scroll are straight out.
2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoHVAC question; Should I be able to see light around my front door?
Okay, possibly stupid question, but wanted to check myself before I called my apartment office complaining. I shouldn't be able to see light around a solid front door, correct? Wouldn't this seriously affect airflow and AC costs?

2 AnswersTVs1 decade agoHow do you implement an RSS feed if the web server does not accept .rss or .xml files?
I found a feed creator, made a feed, went to publish it but the site does not accept .rss or .xml files. If saved as an HTML, will RSS readers read it? I'm a total noob to RSS, so forgive me if I ask silly questions.
2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoTo what degree can you use someone's identity in a fictional story?
Not a full novel, just a short story. It will be published on the web, readers will not be charged to read it, if that matters. Also, these will likely be "famous" people that you can easily find pictures of via Google. There will be much disclaimer that the works are FICTION.
For example, where does the law draw the line when it comes to "Hey, I had dinner with whoever" and "Hey, I just shot whoever dead in the road!"
4 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoHow could I likely duplicate this yellow ham fried rice?
This Chinese restaurant that is located entirely too far away for me to get to often has a wonderful ham fried rice. It's yellow, and I know it has onions and green onions in it, and small pieces of diced ham. It has a great smokey taste to it. I've never tasted anything like it anywhere else. Any ideas?
2 AnswersEthnic Cuisine1 decade agoHow do I tell Calc (or Excell) to display one figure in one case, or another figure if another case?
I need a formula that says "Look at cell B12. If it's less than 6, then display 1. If it's between 7 and 20, then display 1.5. If it's between 20 and 30 then display 2."
Is there a way to do this that I'm missing?
