Doctors or Nurses in the house? Mild Pain...?
I have had a chest cold for 3 days now. However, I started having mild pain on the right hand side of my body only for the last 2 days (including today). I thought it was a nerve pinched at first because it runs from my back down to my legs and arms. Today it became more discomforting and I am feeling pain on my right temple lobe, lower back of my head (right side) and right back neck area. I tried massaging these areas, taking hot bath, stretching, and even tylenol. But it is not getting better...slightly stronger. It feels like a nerve inside of me (right side only) is being pulled. Before I go to the doctor for nothing..any advice? Scale of 1-10....2.5 and i have high pain tolerance. Thanks.

I don't think it's a nerve from what you are writing, it sounds more like you have tendons that have shortened up on you during this time of pain. Tendons are like a turtle's head, how it goes in and out, tendons can do that too. Except that they pull in when they are trying to protect us in some way, trauma of some kind, a cold with lot's of coughing, and they stay that way until they get released.
To try to help your head try feeling around your neck to find some really sore spots, like in the back where you have the complaint from. Can you isolate the one area where that tendon is? Then lean your head to that side a little and see if you can get the sore part between your fingers. When you do, squeeze on it and hold. Relax your body now, take a deep breath and exhale, and don't tense up any part of your body, including your arm. Let your fingers do the work. After 45 seconds very slowly start to extend your head the other way until you have extended it as far as you can. Then release the pressure and let your head rest in that position for one minute. email me if you still have trouble.

I think Mariya is a bot. I don't know how old you are, but if you're under 16, you should NOT use acetylsaliclic acid...also known as Aspirin. It can cause a whole other disease if you take it while you're young so dont do that.
Have you ever had a migraine? I would take advil or excedrin, those are geared more towards a headache and work differently on your pain than tylenol! It could be a sinus infection too. You have little open areas in your head that basically fill up with junk, and that causes pressure in all sorts of places in the head/neck. Old fashioned doctors will give you a RX for treatment, some newer docs won't. Sorry I couldn't narrow it down more! Hope this helps a little!

Are you taking drugs that may rationale seritonin syndrome? Some antidepressants cannot be excited about different drugs with out danger of SS. Cymbalta interacts with Tramadol (Ultram), Soma or even OTC melatonin. Tramadol on its own motives many interactions and viable Seritonin Syndrome. One character I realize received in on their first dose and a yr later they're nonetheless no longer correct. The method to quit Seritonin Syndrome is with a Benzo (frequently like your nervousness remedy), but when you are taking a mixture of medicinal drugs every day, after which bailing out with the Benzo, that could be an bad cycle for you. Is there no healthcare professional you'll be able to provide an explanation for to what you suppose is occurring? You sound proficient and wise. Try to uncover one you'll be able to speak actually with. Best of good fortune to you.

hon, I would go to the ER or the doc;; you have NO nerve that runs along the whole side of your body, upper & lower together;; you either have a pretty nasty infection or possibly a stroke (TIA);; I wouldn't monkey around with either, but I would certainly be more apt to rule these out than to see what it's gonna do tomorrow.. get going & good luck!!
