what's the version? Jurisdiction! What long island calls a DWI (using whilst Intoxicated) might desire to be a DUI (using under the effect of an intoxicant) in Pennsylvania, and an OUI (working a motor vehicle under the effect of intoxicants) in Missouri. that's a similar offense somewhat, the outcomes are oftentimes fairly comparable, yet diverse states call it by employing diverse names.

To my knowledge DWI driving while intoxicated, and DUI driving under the influence carry the same fines and jail time there is no difference.
