I had a book about it but couldn't find it and can't find any information online. i'm trying to find about the cromazones and the antibodies that build up in the mother juring the pregnancy and the shot that the mother has too take after having the baby..... there is a nice bit of info i'm missing!!!

Your bf's blood has nothing to do with it, it's only your blood type they check. If you have a negative factor in your blood then you'll have to get a shot at 28wks an another shot after you have you baby. It's to protect you and your baby in case your bloods should mix during delivery or any complications. The shots will also allow your future pregnancies to go well with your negative factor. Hope this helps :)

my blood type is RH negative and since the father's blood is not also an RH negative type, then I have to take a Rhogam shot at around 6 months, then right after birth another one. the risks are that the antibodies in my blood would reject the baby otherwise.

you should be fine.. im also negative with a positive husband

you will get a shot at 28 weeks and then again at 34 weeks

if you experience any bleeding let the dr know and get the anti-d shot within 72hours..

these days there really is nothing to worry about..

I am neg and my partner is pos and baby was pos, shouldn't be harmful at all. You just have to make sure you have a jab after baby is born only if baby turns out to be pos.
