Hey girls!! Got a moving question?
Ok,
So since we have a VERY active 10 month old, my fiance and I have decided to move into a townhouse next May and out of this apartment! Very excited. Now is when things get dificult, we are graduating college in May so we have final exams/graduation, we are getting married May 29th so we have wedding and honeymoon. All in all, May is a busy month!
So, how did you prepare your child for a move? Whats the easiest way to move with a child? and most importantly, when should i start to pack/clean out this rubbish heap?
Thanks!

When I moved I packed all unnecessary things as early as possible,(tax returns, winter clothes, whatever I wouldn't be needing). I saved the kids' stuff for last. I packed everything by myself. Come moving day, I took the kids to the new house while my hubby and his friends moved all the big stuff. It all went very smoothly until it was time to unpack. That's when your little one will get into everything 'trying to help'. LOL

Well me and my 2-year-old son, moved into a 3 level townhome in March. He didn't recognize the house, and he stayed with relatives on moving day, and spent the night with a relative while I got his room together, and put up his crib. Then when I brought him home, he immediately got attached to his room, he wouldn't go down the stairs by himself at first, unless I helped him, now he does it all day long. And he wouldn't go in the livingroom either, now he does and will bring me to the kitchen when he's hungry, but he still prefers his bedroom. And he loves sitting at the middle of the stairs and peek through the rails while he watches his favorite DVD, playing from his room.
