i think my earring back is stuck in my earlobe. please help. i don't know what to do!?

not actually inside my ear drum, but in the earring hole.

Update:

i fiddle with my earrings quite a lot (i know i shouldn't) and i think both earring backs have become lodged inside my earlobes. HELP.

Update 2:

i can't turn them at all. hurts quite a bit. might go to doctors.

Update 3:

ahh! it's a butterfly one. really hurting. would go to doctor, but can't get there tonight, there is no way. is it gonna get properly stuck in there?

don't panic. try soaking them in warm water (with sea salt if you can.) they may just be stuck to some crusties. if they are, in fact, stuck inside the piercing holes, the warm water may help the holes expand. if that doesn't work, go see a professional piercer (not one of those people in the mall, but someone at a good piercing shop). if they cannot safely remove them, they will probably send you to a dr.

Well firstly your earlobe is not exactly huge so they can't go missing. It won't require major surgery. I wouldn't rush off to the Doctor unless you have tried to work them out yourself first. Make sure you keep the area clean and i would sgree you could try and numb the area first. After all you dont go to the Doctor to get a splinter removed. I dont know what the Doctor could do on the spot anyway? How did they get so far in ? Did you not remove the earrings for a while?

I once thought that with one of my ear piercings but it is fairly unlikely, mine turned out to be a infection in the form of a collection of pus, which had toughend up over time causing the lump you believe is the back of your earring, this goes away after a while

nothing to worry abo although it feels very hard and tough I am fairly confident it is not the back of your earring.

oooh, I got the fron stuck inside before. You should go to the doctor. Don't go to Claires! It will hurt to get it out and you need a doctor so that you don't get an infection.

First, try rotating them in the holes. If that doesn't work, then go to a professional jeweler. (Like, not Claire's or Nordstrom's, go to a PROFESSIONAL jeweler.) If they cannot help you, go to the emergency room if it hurts a lot. if it doesn't hurt so bad, just go to the doctor's office. They'll DEFINITELY be able to help you. I hope this helped!

Depending on how deeply they are stuck in, you might have to go to the doctor so they can get it out. Try gently pulling them out, if they don't come, then go to the Dr.

try twisting it around in a circle to break anything thats sticking to it. apply the ear cleaning product to make it softer and keep twisting until you can fully spin the earring around in the hole.

when i got my earrings stuck inside my ears my mom pulled out one of them ,but it hurt too much so i went to a clinic and they took the other one out for me (they had to cut my ear( my ear was numbed) and gave me cream for my ears so they wouldn't get infected.
