How can I contact these people about my kitten?

My parents and I found a friendly sweet little baby kitten only about 7 weeks old abandoned at a McDonald's. We took her home to nurse her back to health. We kept her for about a week (until she was healthy) then my parents put an ad on Craigslist for a "free kitten". Now, I know this is a BIG no no. I told them that you are NEVER supposed to post FREE kitten ads because some people will use the kittens as bait for pit bull fights. A guy called us and my parents and I brought the kitten to him. I begged my parents not to, but they gave her to him. He said he has a wife and a baby. And he said they have 2 big cats and a baby kitten at home. He also said he just moved to Texas from Kansas. He seems legitemate, but he has a HUGE kennel in the passenger seat. Now why would a man picking up a baby kitten have a HUGE kennel? And they guy didn't look like the cleanest person in the world (I know I shouldn't judge people by their appearance, but I am just worried about the kitten's safety). Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could contact him to make sure the kitten is ok? I have his cell phone number, but I don't want him to think I am accusing him of anything. Please help

I would just call him and tell him that you grew very attached to the kitten and want to make sure she is ok. The reason he could have had that big kennel is just because its all he had. With 2 cats, they may both fit in that kennel and it might be what he uses to carry them to the vets etc. Just hope for the best hon, there is no way of telling what happened to that kitten unless he allows you to come visit (and do NOT NOT NOT do this without your parents along). I would just keep spreading the word about craigslist and when you are old enough to make decisions, make the right ones. You have a good head on your shoulders and that should carry you well in life. Just stick with it, and keep treating animals humanely and the way you know you should. Its really all you can do. Best of luck to you dear.
