Daycare lunch ideas for a 1 year old?

So when my son turns one, he will be moved to the ones room at daycare(he is transitioning now so he can slowly get used to it) The ones room requires that you pack a lunch for your child(infant room provided the food) so, I was just wondering some easy, fun, healthy lunch ideas that he might like. My hubby and I are in college and get up at 630 and take him around 730, so something quick is key. Thank you!

p.s. He loves his fruits and veggies, just concerned about a main course idea. They said that they would be able to microwave the meals and there is a fridge.

They have those single serving size veggies at the grocery store. The come in little cups that can be put in the microwave.

Turkey on Wheat bread can add a slice of cheese if you like. Use one slice of bread cut in half.

A veggie cup. Gerber graduates also have them.

    Sliced apple.

You could also get him a child thermos and put in homemade soup.

Graham crackers, yogurt, and a banana.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMVyM

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

-Raviolis if he eats them either with butter or a little marinara sauce. My son loves cheese ones with marinara sauce and they heat in the microwave in about a minute. This could also go for any pasta really.

-Does your son eat peanut butter yet? My son loves either half a PB&J sandwich cut up or just a slice of bread with some PB on it cut up.

-What about all natural hot dog? This would be like a once a week thing. They microwave easy, and like I said if it is just once a week or something it would be fine.

Some days my son just has cut up fruit, cut up veggies, and some cheese cubes. Nothing is "really" a main course but he is full and he's gotten some good nutrition.

    Good luck!!

My little guy really likes cheese squares, banana wafers, and mashed potatoes and gravy. You could make some pototoes with a thick meat gravy, for a main dish.

Or, have you looked into gerber Graduatess? They have little baby sized microwavable containers of mac n cheese, ravioli, and other simple foods like that. They are about .50 to $1 each.

I usually take a sunday night and make meals that I know my son will eat and freeze them in individual dishes. HOME make turkey soups, macaroni with tomatoes, spaghetti and meat sauce, lasagnas with broccoli, are some that I know my son loves. Sandwich's are great if you are short on time. Or you could make extra large dinners and keep some for his lunch the next day.

Yogurt & Fruit such as carrots; banana etc would be great for him, although messy!

Find a food he likes, I used to get frankfurts, which is what my mum packed me, and i'd have them everyday and they weren't messy and i loved them!

Sandwiches are also a good idea, nowdays you can can tin spaghetti which kids love along with baby food which is easy
