If the NFL had a Mt. Rushmore, what 4 faces most deserve to be put on it?
Someone posted this question earlier, and i thought it was a really good one, so yes, i am blatantly plagiarizing. It can be any player, coach, owner, or exec from any decade from the inception of the league til now. I have my own answers, but I'll post them later. Have fun!

I would mix it around a little.
Coach - Vince Lombardi, a legend in his own right and the ultimate SB prize is names after him.
QB - Joe Montana - A legend and a pioneer. He helped the way the way offense is played and won big with the game on the line with only seconds to spare.
WR - Jerry Rice - A player who undeniably the GOAT and will be for many years to come.
RB - Walter Payton - A passionate player when he played. I hope his memory lives on.
I would add a 5th face for the D.
D - Meene Joe Greene - A great Defensive player with heart and soul
On top of all of my selections, these men are great influences and did not play selfishly. They are the players of past that should be role models for players of today and in the future. much like the presidents are role models for the presidents of today and in the future.
By the way, excellent question.
Thumbs up to those who agree

I would have Coach Lombardi, Mighty Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, and Sweetness himself Walter Payton. And then Hidden deep inside the mountain would be Rex Grossman wishing to be there.

Tom Landry, Chuck Noll of the Steelers, John Madden, and Vince Lombardi
If I was to pick 4 these would be my top. Tom Landry for his long run with the Cowboys and making them America's Team. Chuck Noll for the Iron Curtain defense of the Steelers. John Madden for all of his years as an announcer and his winning percentage as a head coach. And of course Vince Lombardi, who the Super Bowl Trophy is named after.

Vince Lombardi - Super Bowl trophy named after him - 5 Championships in 9 years.
Don Shula - Winningest coach in NFL history - coached only perfect season - only 2 losing seasons in 32 years.
Tony Dungy - First African-American coach to win Super Bowl
John Madden - One of the most recognizable faces in football history due to contributions as a head coach, commentator, commercials, and video game.
Wouldn't include players because it would be too hard to narrow down which players go on.
