For those religious people out there... what made you realize there was a god?

I remember when I thought I felt something, but I knew it was just my emotions trying to overide my logic.

I have tried again and again to pinpoint the exact time becuase I have had quite a few mystical experiences. But the moment I knew without a doubt was when I was doing a meditation. I had started doing meditations recently prior to my experience and I felt great and I had noticed different revelations coming to me but I thought it may be a coincidence. However, I soon realized that I was receiving revelations, its like when you quiet your mind and remove the world you can hear the divine revelations and you act on them and they start becoming more apparent.

I always believed in God from childhood but I don't think I ever experienced God until the one moment I will explain below....

One night I was meditating, just focusing on my breathing and removing my worldy thoughts and then I started to pray and talk to God and the angels. I asked questions "what am I here for, who are you, what is your name, reveal yourself to me?" and as I said that I felt an overwhelming feeling of love come over me. The only way I can explain it is that I wanted to laugh, cry, scream all at the same time. I felt butterflies (like you do when on an amusement ride), I felt so light as though I was floating, my mind was so clear and I had an amazing feeling of peace come over me, it was like every good feeling I had ever had in my life was all experienced in about 10 seconds. I realized how burdened I am by my thoughts and I think most of us don't even realize it, that we walk through life THINKING of all this crap and we don't see the beauty that is right before us, love and peace are amazing to feel and so void of burden...the burdens just washed away in those 10 seconds - it was just me and love and we were one.

I want to say it was a taste of heaven....a feeling of God...everything I had asked was revealed to me in feelings, not in words, not in pictures, but in feelings and it was amazing. I knew at that moment that I was given a special gift, I believe it was the feeling of the Holy Spirit entering me because since that moment my life has changed and I now know that everything is going to be okay :o)

I am amazed that some people still need to think of existence of God !?!

Haven’t you ever thought of who created sky, planets, sun ,stars ,air ,water ,humans ,animals and everything else. Who can hold and control all these stars and planets to stay in a certain position and not to crash together !?

Who created you from sperms and make each part of your body work better than any machine even if you are asleep.

It is GOD but no one else.

God has called me twice by my name through strangers! I have no doubt to His existence.
