I'm 24 weeks and my baby hasn't moved since last night.?
He's usually a really active little guy, actually technically he's not so little. He already weighs a bit more than 2 lbs so trust me when I say, I feel the full force of his little movements. So I guess I'm looking for any Mommy suggestions to get him bumping around before I go insane and rush to the hospital, considering I'd rather not with the H1N1 insanity going around. Thank you and God bless.

Orange juice and cranberry juice works the best in these situations. I know that I got worried when my baby didn't move, I talked to my doctor about this, and he told me drink orange juice or cranberry juice and immediately go lie down. Within 10 minutes of drinking it, my little one moved like none other. Another thing that you can try is spicy foods, or something you know that gets him going. You can also try talking to him, and rubbing your belly in different directions. If you can't get him moving after a few hours, I would call your doctor first, tell them what you tried, and if they have you come in..they will check with an ultrasound of stress test, or send you to the hospital. Just tell them what you have been experiencing, and you should have no problems with getting in, or getting a solution.
Also, another way to monitor him on your own is everyday when you wake up keep a log to track his movements. My doctor told me that sometimes they just don't want to move and it has always scared me, because of my history with miscarriages, and plus I was never supposed to have kids...so needless to say I am overly protective of him and his movements. They also said he might be slowing down towards the end of my pregnancy, and I have to say no he is not slowing down at all.
Good luck, God Bless, I hope everything works out with you and your little one, and congratulations!

He's probably just having a lazy day. The exact same thing happened to me at 24 weeks. My baby is always very active and kicks very hard and then all of a sudden she stopped for a day or so and I went straight to the hospital. Of course, once I got there and they started monitoring here and did an ultrasound, she started kicking insanely! She did it like 3 or 4 times after that as well. It's normal..you usually don't have to start really worrying about their movements until 28 weeks. Right now, their movements are so unpredictable! If you are really concerned, go to the ER or call your doctor. You're baby is more than likely perfectly fine and is just sleeping, he will probably start up again soon and he will be quite active then after sleeping for so long! lol Good luck & congrats(:

drink something or eat something with lots and lots of sugar lay on your left side and your baby should move 10 times in 1-2 hours..if he doesn't go to the emergency room and make sure everything is fine..even if your baby has moved but not as much as usual remember babies have lazy days too =] good luck and congratulations

he could just be having a lazy day or about to go through a wee growth spurt =)
try drinking an icy cold drink, like orange juice or soda and lie down for half an hour, that should get him moving =)
