Every time I bump my head I freak out, thinking that I'll suddenly hemorrhage or something?
Damn you Discovery Health channel and your profound medical knowledge that you distribute to the entire world! I see shows where people barely bump their head, hemorrhage, and then die. This knowledge just really annoys me, and makes me afraid of any sudden and jarring movements to my head. I'm afraid to headbang, and I'm also afraid that if I'm ever in a car accident, I'll freak out and think that I have head trauma or something. Starting to sound like a hypochondriac, right? Sometimes, ignorance is truly bliss. Anyone else have this problem?

I am not a hypochondriac and I fell and hit my head on concrete stairs. My life will never be the same. I didn't pass out, I went to the ER for the tests etc. I didn't hemorrhage. I was ignorant of all those shows. So I guess ignorance isn't bliss either.
Best advice - Don't head bang - protect your head.
Even for me stress and worry won't help. What is to be will be. Do your best and after that - that is all you can do. Try to relax.
