my cat was diagnosed with Hemobartonella felis. He started on doxycycline and prednisone.?

He fights being "pilled". Any suggestions on making this an easier process?

    You might want to ask your vet for a device called a "piller" or "pill popper". Mine has a rubber, slotted tip to hold the pill and a plunger to "pop" the pill to the back of the cat's throat after getting the mouth open. It's great because then you're not trying to push a pill into a cat's mouth with your fingers.

    My cat takes cardiac medications every day and takes the pills in something called a "pill pocket" - a tasty little treat that you can hide the pills in. You can buy them at pet stores.
