I often think of the Song "Heaven Cant Be Found", but as Christians and you live your Faith and are right with God it might just be possible.

God is not searching,but just asks that we open "The Eyes of Our Heart",accept Him,and let Him in.

I really have no idea. But I have surmised over the years, and here are one or two of my thoughts ...

God may be searching to know Himself more fully.

To utilise His infinite creativity more fully.

To know Himself more fully by creating that which has the freewill to choose to allign with that which is God, or to become that which acts and behaves as non-God.

How can God truly know what He is, unless there are opposites for comparison?

Can God know himself in isolation if everything is God, or does there need to be non-God in order for Him to know Himself fully.

God may know more of his goodness and his Love, by seeing the opposites.

Just the small ramblings of a mind that would love to know and understand these things better ...

Said in many ways, depends on where you are, God is searching all Hearts, looking for perfection of Hearts, just to see who's will is willing in his will ! The anointing of the Mind is taking place today, it was and is knowledge being poured out today upon all, never before has a populace been able to co-exist in one place at one time, all walks of life, every country, beliefs, this is it friend, called the inter-net, you can define it in the dictionary, inter is the grave, net is a device to lift, LOL, true, and unique, all ages, male and female, all colors, LOL, even though you can go transparent on here, LOL, you are just about completely free to say as you please, information is at a peak influx into little Minds, LOL, many say, I am confused, yes, confuse translates as together+to pour, we all have a bit of confusion, whether receiving or transmitting, ""WE ARE BEING PROGRAMMED"", we are dividing even further, we were told of a rebellious generation being one of the last signs, the near last division, our city streets are full of it as a sign, growing bigger every day, the men talent of mental lacks the knowledge to battle a psychological battle, it is easy to see this, most are way to busy fighting the worldly things, whether it be pride of a religion, the need for money to survive, distractions away from spiritual love, or to be basic, the bible I read says God scattered them all over the world, that should be enough said about that, all people are his, Jesus gives us a little knowledge to work on when he speaks to the pharisees and scribes, you compass sea and land to create one proselyte, when he is made, you make him two-fold the child of hell as yourselves, this is been going on a long time, converting someone from one belief to another is a proselyte, we are to exceed the scribes and pharisees, why is it that Christians can not grasp this part, or Islam, most that is, they have so much pride it blocks their anointing of the mental, So I say, the living God is going to show every one just how much the mental is in ""kneed"", past tense of spiritual standing in ignorance, basic, I love people, but they sure do spiritually bite a lot, LOL, searching for heaven, looking up, searching for help from there, you have to get completely out of the physical world, then you can look down also to help mankind as God does, it goes in order, it always has, he makes the sun to rise on all things, we are to be doctors who heal the sick, not the healthy, this is the Mind and Heart we heal, the temple of spirit, I believe by example of the ample in us, the fruits of the spirit, whether people know it or not, the world is getting programmed, input of truth, that is a true battle, discerning truth from lie, so we lay before us all the evidence of this world, digging it up, turning, looking, finding, just the last 100 years is astounding, the last 50 accelerating, and now even faster, not hard to capture a time frame, Yes I think of heaven, because of the ones I love do I think to help mankind in Heart and Mind, to ease by assurance.

I agree...God has no lack of anything to be searching. Only us humans can search because of the limited capacity we are given but God has no limits or reasons to search. He is one and all. The master of existence.

That which is All That Is need search for nothing, for It is complete unto Itself. It would seem anthropomorphic to attribute neediness or longing to such a One, though it is the "human" thing for us to do. Could it be, that when we perceive God to be searching or yearning for something, that it is our projection of our own "longing" to commune with Source, our desire to reuinte with Divine Intelligence? Of course, i cannot know until it has become my experience...so these are merely rambling thoughts gathered for my own consideration.

We are taught in the Holy Qur'an and elsewhere that God is Self-Sufficient. The LORD does not 'need us'... quite the opposite... we are in need of His Loving Grace, Mercy, Beneficence, Guidance and etc.

The "All Compelling One" is Omniscient and Knows all things... God our Creator is All Wise and and Seeing... He KNOWS the very words on our tongue... and we are naked in our thoughts before Him. [La ilaha illallah...]

"On the day when Allah will gather together the messengers and say: What was the response you received? They will say: We have no knowledge. Surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen." [Holy Qur'an 5:109]

it is conjecture on my part to say what our LORD is searching for [Astaghfirullah] but if i had to conjecture... i would say that Allah Ta'ala is searching for clean hearts... [Insha'Allah]... and yet He Knows us all! [He is closer to us than our very Jugular Veins] Al-hamdulillah!

What do you base the question on ?

Why would an omnipotent God be lacking anything and need to search ?

Doesn't make sense to me.

God is searching hearts.
