we haven't ousted al Qaeda from anywhere yet. We won't invade them. We would be overextending ourselves (which I think we've done already, but this will make it wayyyyy way worse). We'd be in serious doo-doo if we tried to invade another country.

Al Qaeda is very smart to spread themselves all over the Muslim countries in order to unit them against the Western countries for the next world war Al Qaeda and the radical Muslims want to start.
