My twin sister is soo annoying!! She's such a flirt.. please help 10pts. best answer please read desperate..:(?
I'm 16 and obviously so is my sister, and we're both really pretty but not identical but we look kinda alike. Anyways, theres always the "awkward phase" and like she was really awkward looking but had an amazing sweet personality and we were so close. And then I gave her a makeover and everything and she started changing and getting mroe confident but in the wrong way.
She's always saying how she doesnt like girls cuz their bit***s and that guys are easier to befriend. She's soo full of herself and liek is obsessed with her hair and how she looks. She brushes her hair for an hour in the morning so that it won't dry weird and she's so disrespectful to my parents. The worst thing is she flirts with EVERY guy literally. She's had so many boyfriends in the past months and currently she has a bf, but flirts and hangs out w this other guy that started liking her (because of her flirting) and then there are even more guys she flirts with and she has conversations with all these freshman guys who are crushing on her and IMs with them and flirts and gives out her number and now she wants to dump her bf and go out with his best friend who she's also always flirting w. And she used to want to wait for sex til marriage but now shes telling me she doesnt want to wait.
My dad has cancer and wants to spend time with us. On New Year she almsot started crying because our dad wanted her to stay home and celebrate new years with us, but she wanted to go out with the sleaziest guys at our school. She's shyer than me when with them but flirts and tells them she might like them, Im sick of this! IDK what to do!! I miss my sister, I dont want this slut, but my sis, and I've confronted her but she doesnt seem to care or change. She hurts me and my parents. She even went out w a 13 yr old over the summer! and then a turkish guy who she said there was nothing going on w them when we were at this fest and he was completley drunk and he tried to kiss me and then next thing I know she's sitting there making out w him!! I was like WTF!
Im sorry this was incredibly long, I just dont know what to do anymore. I usually hang out with her becuase I dont have many other friends ( I haev a few girl friends) but they all think we're sluts at this school because of my sister. I'm at a new school an american high school in germany
I cry so much every night cuz idk what to do anymore, its hard enough with whats going on with my dad. If it wasnt for my dad I would have already applied to boarding school to get out of here. 10 pts for best answer please heko
I'm not jealous of her, I'm just mad at her becuase she's ruining everything. I wouldn't say she's prettier than me, we're equal with that, just that she dresses a little sluttier, I just hate how selfish and shallow she's become and such a flirt, I wish I could be close with her again, but she only cares about guys.
and even when I talk to her and do "bonding things with her"
she's always on her cell texting some guys I dont even know or on the laptop IM'ing.
Its so frustrating.. and I tell her to put it away but all she'll say is no, im paying attention and just b**** at me.
And when we were finally together at new years (well me and her my family was already asleep by then) she was like Oh they wanna come over(those sleazy guys) I was like wtf! and of course I told her no. I used to be easy going but now I come off across as stuck up because of her.

so we both have asshole twins! you've got to tell her one on one that you think that she has been neglecting you and your family and she needs to stop because you might not all be around forever, and tell her you love her, and it hurts you to see her hurting your dad like that. tell her you're worried about her, and that you are afraid one of those guys will hurt her, and tell her she is too beautiful and intelligent to be wasting her time with those losers.
just try and get her on your side again. just try to keep it cool and not make it sound like you are accusing her of being a bad sister.person.daughter. whatever it is she's ******* up the worst. just say you think the two of you should do something special for your dad, and maybe even set up a time just for family, that way the rest of her time is guaranteed to be free. plead with her if thats what it takes, just don't let her make a big mistake by neglecting your dad. good luck.

I have a twin sister and I know how you feel,
Your sister is obviously developing her personality and busy with her guys. You can' t do anything about it because she isn't listening to you. Just ignore her for a while, don't talk to her, be nice to your parents and your dad, they need you more than her. She's just attention seeking so if you don't give her that attention she will furious, Another reason might be that she is sick of being a twin and needs some space and a difference between you she might be proving to you she can do things by herself and doesn't need you. leave her for a while, roll your eyes when she says something, ignore her tantrums, don't speak to her and leave her for a while. She'll see what she's missing and will be back to normal in no time because she is still devoloping and is different from you.
Give it some time and she'll get the message I'm sure it'll work 99% if it doesn't you have no choice but to keep on talking to her.
Good Luck
Have a great year <3

1. Sci-fi or fantasy, or (even better) a combination of the two. 2. I prefer third person limited, and I am okay with jumping around as far as perspectives go, as long as there is some indication of the switch in perspective, like a break or a new chapter. It's confusing to have it be talking about Joe's thoughts and then without warning it's talking about Emily's thoughts. 3. If it has to be first person I definitely prefer a journal or letter format; it makes it seem more believable. 4. I think one of my favorite book characters is Claidi in Tanith Lee's series "The Claidi Journals" because she's always getting all this crap thrown at her, but she doesn't lose her sense of self. Whether she's being told that she's secretly a princess, or that she has to stay cooped up in a dark tower all day, or that she's a filthy liar and her fiance hates her -- she still insists upon being herself. 5. If it was good, certainly. But I do prefer originality. 6. I... don't really know? I suppose I'd like to see more science-based fantasy, like Diane Duane's "Young Wizards" series. 7. To answer your last question, to make a unique personality, it's easier to choose something that can't be put into a label. Like the aforementioned Claidi -- the best you can do to describe her is "Claidi," really.

i think since your dad is sick, there is probably a lot of attention on his condition right now. this kind of attention is negative since it all has to do with a disease, etc. she is probably acting like this because she needs attention in any way she can get it. by focusing on all the negative things she does and calling her out on them, you are just feeding into her plan, even though she may not even realize that that's what she's really doing. instead of focusing on all the bad things she does, even though they suck, try to encourage her in a good way. compliment her on the good things she does whenever those things do happen. just be quick to point out anything positive in her so that she wont look for attention in the wrong ways. when she does the bad things, just dont pay attention. if she tries to tell you about it, act completely disinterested and bored instead of giving into it. just be totally positive and give her good attention, and maybe that will help her change.
im sorry about everything going on in your family. it sounds like you could really use someone, and i'm sorry she isn't there for you right now. just maybe try that and see if she comes around. i hope everything works out.

i wouldn't worry about your sister. be outgoing and make new friends, honestly. she's exploring being a woman... and it sounds like your a little tad bit jealous of her new look... and new found confidence.
I would spend as much time with my dad as i could... and if she doesn't want to, that's on her. you can't help that!!! you can't change her, her mind or anything else... if you try she'll just be more determined to do what she wants...
sometimes with friends/sisters you have to let go.. start your own life.. get your own friends, and not worry about being a slut or whatever... college is amazing. just hold on and wait!

I think she had a inferiority complex in her, later she grew with it, first of all she is loosing her confidence levels, at this point of time she wouldn't care what you are saying or what the whole family thing going on because she is trying to get attention of other people upon her, this is a crucial time , if she wouldn't change her attitude she is in trouble, something happened in her child hood that she doesn't want to tell to every one or to you ,just leave it to time, its so tough first, but she needs to learn her own lesson.

Tell exactly that to your sister. But in a acalm persuasive voice. And if that doen't work, she's a goner. You cant help her, and so is she. But she'll learn from life someday, and will regret for not having listened to you. And you start ignoring her. You have your own life to worry about.

My sister was like this, Shes 14 and well as you probably guessed im 16. We both look alike, she used to be shy. Shes a freshman, im a junior. Now she has a new hair style, clothes, lost some weight and bam. Well all i can say is this. Let them learn, They can't handle being a "different person" I used to be known as the funny guy, or the most relaxed. Now all i get is questions about my sister. It only bugs me because it effects me. They think because you tell them about it your jealous or some crap like that. They get so full of themselves. So just let them be.

I dont think she will change. become your own friend and get a group that doesnt involve her. If she's not listening to you there is no point in keeping on trying. I find the fact that she whined about spending NYE with your dad when he has cancer about the most pathetic thing i have ever heard. Its selfish and stupid and your sister is going to slapped in the face with reality if she doesnt open her eyes soon.

She's going through a rebellious phase right now. The operative word is "phase". Let it ride out, but if she starts to break laws or puts herself in physical danger you may want to enlist some help from psychiatric professionals.
Your excessive interest in imposing American norms on her sexuality, however, does lend credence to her point that at least American women are bitches.
