Should I get married Nov 20 or New Year's Eve of this year?

I'm torn! There are pro and cons for both. Opinions please!

Thanks!

Update:

Nov 20th is the only Sat left available for this year at the place I want. It also happens to be the Sat before Thanksgiving which means honeymoon during the holiday. I def want to leave the day after my wedding. NYE wouldn't be a prob as far as attendance. Everyone is close. But everything would start late, including dinner.

I would go with Nov 20, my reason is that New Years is a holiday and do you really want to split New Years with your Anniversary every year? Plus as someone above said many guests won't be able to afford both.

Nov 20 is better. May people would like to spend time with family on New Year's Eve.

Nov. 20 definitely. Lots of people will be pissed because maybe they have other plans for new year's eve and they will have to choose between them. My boyfriend and I were supposed to attend a family reunion for new year's eve and we didn't go, because we decided we won't ruin our plans just to make others happy, because they didn't give a sh*t about us when they decided we are going to spend new year's eve like they tell us to. It's not fair for some people because they feel morally obliged to attend your wedding, but they will be surely mad at you because you screwed their new year's eve. No matter how much I think, I can't find any pros.

It depends on what is special about the day. Is it the first time you kiss, meet or went on a date? I would prob say New Years Eve because most people is already off of work and most of your family will be in one place.

my sister-in-law got married on new years eve & it didn't work out

no out-of-town guests came because they couldn't afford to have christmas for their families and travel

plenty of people that did go were a bit upset that they didn't get to choose how to spend their evening, not to mention we were kicked out of the hall at 12:05 and didn't really get to enjoy the whole night

    go with 11/20
