what is normal for dating?
Hi,
for various reasons I have not dated in a couple of years and so I am confused about current etiquette. I am wondering if it is normal for a guy to make comments after one 1 or 2 dates showing that he is sexually attracted to you.
I don't know him well, we really just started dating and to be fair he certainly isn't making explicit comments, stuff more along the lines of showing him the correct way to make a bubble bath.
Is this just normal for guys to do this? Something in the nature of testing the waters to see if I am willing to just jump into bed with him? Or does it show a clear lack of respect for me a person and I should move on?
Thanks for your help and really anyone can answer, I am just confused as to whether this is appropriate
I am not interesting in jumping into bed with anyone I don't know well, I mean there is the whole AIDS thing to consider. I am just not sure if its normal for a guy to discuss it so soon

wow, OK a lot has changed in the last couple of years, first off, the girl pays for everything these days. Still no sex on the first date but you do have to let him videotape you eating a pickle and then crapping out a whole one that you have buggered up earlier. The video will then be posted on the internet so the guys friends and family can take a vote on whether there will be a 2nd date. At the beginning of the second date, etiquette requires that you let his friends "try you out" to determine your viability as a sexual partner. they then write a summary of their individual experiences and send them to a Counsel of the Elders. The eldest Elder, Langdon, then takes the proofread accounts to the sacred bathroom where he pops 2 Viagra and reads them while trying to rub one out. If Langdon is successful in obtaining a release, the visionary elder, Stanley, enters the sacred bathroom and observes the spatter pattern, at which time he assigns 3 numbers to three different elders and those 3 elders decide if a 3rd date will occur based on a secret mathematical formula. Upon occurrence of the 3rd date, you a required to bring an attractive friend for the pleasure of your perspective love interest. After that date, you just wait and see if he calls.

For uk guys, i found that most are like that. Its just in their culture :/
My first bf is very sexual and pushed for it for the second date already, but dont get me wrong - he was really sweet and nice too, but thats just how he grew up and thought how it was.
However the guy im with now is very decent and. wouldnt even do sexual jokes with me until the 6th date lol, or touch me in naughty places (lord knows he has the chance to)
its really up to how comfortable YOU are.
I prefer men who wait :)

He's flirting! It would really turn me on. If you don't like it though, you probably just aren't that attracted to him.
