According to "kitty etiquette", is this rude?

I just caught Poppy (10 month old tortie) dipping her paw in my glass of orange/pineapple juice. It must have tasted good because she 'dipped & licked' again! Is she being rude? Or am I being "overly sensitive"?

Update:

TinaK... You got it!! (double-dipping)

:)

Claire... *smile*

Glad to know I have a 'normal' tortie. Poppy plays in water, bosses her older 'sister' and pilfers coins from my change jar. Isn't "tortietude" great?

Update 2:

Biker... LOL! If it had a shot in it, I would have been very rude and not shared at all! :)

I think you are being overly-sensitive. You should consider this a compliment. Double-dipping is not an insult in the kitty world.

my cat is also a tortie longhair, she will always drink out of my bedside glass of water so i started to put juice in there, but she drinks that now! torties are known for being a bit scatty and full of naughtiness!

she not being rude she must have smelt it and thought she would see what it tasted like

It's not "rude" because she's not human and she doesn't know what rude is... However, it is unhealthy for you to drink after that.. Why?? Because those are the same paws she just walked in the litter box with!! I wouldn't freak out over it, but I wouldn't intentionally drink after a litter box paw has been in my juice, either... eww! haha...

It must be the 2 shots of Tequila (mixed in) that has Kitty wanting a Drink!

    Cats don't do "etiquette."

Etiquette is for lower vertebrates like dogs, humans and rodents. Cats cannot be understood by humans; they are unfathomable by the human mind. Each cat will do whatever they will, and each cat is highly individualist. We are only here to serve and protect them.

My 18-year-old cat taught me that. He cost me a helluva lot in single malt Scotch.

How cute! She likes it. You should be glad that your kitty has taken a keen interest in your juice.

I let my Ocicat eat off my fork sometimes (he's very polite about it) - I' haven't gotten sick :)
