Both of my adult cats have diarrhea but are not sick otherwise.?

One cat has had it for 3 days and the other one for 1 day. I don't have a car to get to the vet till tomorrow. What can I do for them to stop this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Update:

They both seem okay otherwise. No vomiting.

Diarrhea IS a sign that something is wrong - it should not be taken lightly. With my cats if they have loose stools, I will try feeding them some cheese and it it does not clear up by the next day, they are in the vet's office.

Sounds like either a food problem or whatever the cat that has had diarrhea for 3 days has given it to the other one. Have the vet look at both asap - and take a stool sample of BOTH cats - it could be different for each of them.

Not sure what you're feeding or have been feeding your cats, but when we switched to a high-protein, low-grain diet, one of them had diarrhea for about a week. Once he got used to the food, his poops got a lot less messy. Are they still eating? As long as they're not vomiting or lethargic, I think the vet can wait til tomorrow. Good luck!
