Am I becoming/already anorexic?

Lately for the past 1 or 2 weeks, I have hardly been eating. I have some days been having a breakfast of a bowl of cereal, and NOTHING else the entire day. Other days, I will just have like one bowl of soup or something for dinner. Even about 2 days I did not eat what so ever.

I am not trying not to eat, I am just not hungry. I am eating whenever I feel hungry at all, and still I am not eating. My mom that I live with (my parents are divorced) is getting worried about me for not eating, and even my friends are beginning to notice since I stopped bringing/eating lunch at school. If it has to do with anything, I have been very depressed lately about not having a boyfriend or finding love, to the point at times where I have cried myself to sleep. But I am still keeping up with my physical health, and I am perfectly aware of everything I have been doing.

What do you guys think?

Update:

Another note I have thought of that might be related : I have been drinking perfectly fine lately, although a tiny bit less then before. But my main problem is with eating. I am just not hungry, ever.

Well, if you are not purposely trying to starve yourself, thats a good sign. however, it's not good that you're not eating right. you stated that you are keeping up with your physical health. part of that is eating right and giving your body the proper nutrition. not just exercising. your body will become weak if you exercise too much and eat too little.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been depressed by not having a boyfriend. but please understand that having a boyfriend does not make everything better. you have plenty of time to find that special person in your life. lack of appetite can be a symptom of depression but you have to fight it! you'll find that once you start eating, your depression will start getting going away. try hanging out with your friends more and doing things that you enjoy. set a time when you have to eat. if it helps, start a food journal. plan out your meals in advance. eat what sounds good to you. if you find that its not so healthy, eat something healthy along with it.

not eating can also be (to some people) a false sense of control. i dont know you, so i dont want to make any false assumptions, but i'll just wright it down anyway. if you find that you can relate to this, then i suggest that you speak to your mom about this and seek professional help.

people with eating disorders usually treat food as a way of gaining control. weather it be anorexia, bulimia, or anything in between. they find that their lives are out of control and the only way of having control over something is with their food intake, weight, overall body image.

i wish you the best. im glad that you are aware of the problem that you are having. take a moment to think about what's going on in your life that might make you feel stressed or upset. don't let food control you. and if this is just about not having a boyfriend, like i said, you have plenty of time for that. sometimes, the best things happen to you when you dont even expect them! so keep your head up, and be confident that you'll find someone special when the time is right :)

You're not anywhere near becoming anorexic. Eating disorders don't just happen within a week, they develop gradually as a person digs themselves into a deeper and deeper whole until it's impossible for them to stop. Anorexics do feel hungry. They thrive off the hunger and don't eat because they're so scared of becoming fat that those feelings override the hunger. Many anorexics use it as a coping mechanism.

You aren't anorexic. Your lack of appetite this week is because of the breakup or because you're getting sick. Your mom and friends probably just think you're trying a radical crash diet. Eating disorders don't happen overnight.

You're not anorexic you're depressed. If you were anorexic you would be obsessed with your weight and hate your body and things like that. Anorexics have appetites they just ignore them. Loss of appetite is a classic sign of depression. Your parents' divorce is obviously affecting you and so is your frustration with romantic relationships, I'm willing to bet your parents divorce is contributing to your frustration about relationships too.

It's just depression. By the time you get happier, you'll start eating again. Anorexia is a mental illness where you are obssesed with your weight so you stop eating :x you don't sound obssesed with losing weight so yeahh..
