Did you get pregnant sooner with your second baby?

I'm just curious.

It only took hubby and I two months of "trying but not trying" to conceive our daughter (15 months old).

We just decided to try this past month for baby #2. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing. We were planning on REALLY trying this May-June, but I knew I was ovulating so we just had sex ONCE to see what happens.

Well now I'm really hopeful (it's hard not to be!). I am currently at 10 dpo. I don't really have any symptoms, where as with my daughter I had VERY sore boobs at this point... so I'm feeling a little discouraged that we didn't get it this month (there's always next month right? lol). But I'm making myself wait until I'm at least 2-3 days LATE before taking a test.

So I'm just wondering if you ladies got pregnant quicker/as quick the second time around? I hope it works as fast this time! :o)

Thanks!

Update:

We are trying for a boy, just for fun, that's why we had sex RIGHT at ovulation. But we will be happy with whatever we get! :o)

I got pregnant just as quickly as I did with my first - first try with both, but we were actively trying both times.

    Good luck!

Everyone is different. Some people can conceive when they choose, others may take more time.

My son was born in Dec. 1999 and I didn't conceive again until last Christmas of 2008. I lost that pregnancy and and another pregnancy 2 weeks ago. Now that I am in my early 30's, conceiving is becoming a little easier for me. I would have that thought that it would be the opposite!!

Like I said, everyone is different. I hope it comes easier for you the second time around. Best wishes!

i didnt try for either pregnancy so far, i am 25 weeks pregnant with #2. both boys. i do plan on trying again when this baby is about 1 year old. (hope it will be a girl!) i hope that you are pregnant, and if not, if you want a boy this time, i would do some research on ways to concieve a boy, so that you are not let down if you have another girl, but for all i know, you may want another girl! so i hope you get pregnant, and that it is the gender that you desire!

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/Lhypa

after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted

    eat healthy

    back off caffiene

workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info/

infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.

If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).

two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.

Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

I hope that it happens quickly for you!

It only took 3 months trying with our first and 14 months for our second including 2 miscarriages along the way. I am just blessed to be 14 weeks along now and no problems except the morning sickness lol. Hopefully it wont take long for you. Good luck and enjoy your little one.

It;s possible! I got pregnant first month trying both times. I have heard of people where it takes longer and some it doesn't. It's all up to man up stairs. Good Luck!! Whatever you do, don't get discourage if it doesn't happen as fast.
