Look blankly and meow pathetically. Found the answer to this one out last night...we had a mouse turn up between the storm door and the regular door and with one tom we've been feeding outside and 4 indoors cats, not a single one had any clue what to do about it.

the cat might go along with what most cats do: the cat might smack it around a little and if the mouse runs the cat chases the mouse and plays with it until it gets the urge to kill it

Depends if they're in a playful mood or not. They'll chase it, play with it, give it a crunch in the head. Please don't give your cat a real mouse, Poor Mouse! Get your cat a fun toy mouse instead, besides there's less chance they'll catch a some disease.

Chase and kill it quickly. Both of them are 100% indoor cats but both have very strong hunting instincts. I pity a poor mouse that comes in our house!

A cat would play with it untill it dies. Then they usually the cat will bring it to there owner. Be carful! Sometimes they even drop them in their owners shoes!

What all cats do naturally. Play with it, love it, pet it...oops! Mouse very sleepy.

I know my cat would probably play with it a bit. Maybe beat it up a bit before getting bored and moving on. Doubt she'd actually kill or if she did kill it, doubt she'd eat it. Just likes playing..

....... they would do the same thing that they always do; kill the mouse and eat it. And there wouldn't be a trace of the mouse left. BEST THING FOR THEM.

My humanitarian cats would play with it for a while and then invite it to be, I mean have dinner with them.

Fizzy would almost certainly kill it and eat it.
Not sure what the other two would do but the expect the results would be the same.
