A question for sociopaths?
How do you see the world? It seems as though anywhere you look on the internet, different websites always advocate that sociopaths are evil and should be ditched immediately after identification. I don't agree with this in the least, being that I am a medical aide for the mentally ill and consider myself a relatively open-minded individual. Anyway, this is a question for sociopaths (diagnosed or otherwise) and lovers of sociopaths and even relatives of sociopaths. Just tell me, what is your perspective?
What I mean by ditched is that on many websites it is clearly stated in one way or another "If this sounds like your spouse then get out of the relationship etc etc." Why should these people be abandoned. Im not asking for the clinical definition of a sociopath; I know it already. I'm asking SOCIOPATHS what their perspectives are.

It's not that they should be ditched, but they kind of do need to be kept an eye on. The thing is this: you can't get to them. It's impossible. They don't have the neural capability to have a conscious, or respect social rules. It's not possible, and no matter how much compassion, care, or love you show, they will simply scoff at you. Period. That's the characteristic of a sociopath.
Should they be ditched? No. But they are incredibly vulnerable to break serious laws and social rules because they don't have the capacity to inhibit themselves. If they want to beat someone up, they don't have the neural capacity to say, "wait, maybe I shouldn't. I could hurt this person, and they could end up in the hospital, and some serious could happen."

I don't know what you mean by ditched. Being a sociopath is a serious disorder with very little likelihood of success and it is not that common. Most hardened criminals are sociopaths. A clear definition of a sociopath is they never feel any remorse no matter what they have done, tortured, raped, murdered etc. They only feel for themselves and no one else. It is a personality disorder, people and friends just use the term loosely. They can be above average in intelligence, but they always use it for the wrong reasons. They also always pass the lie detector or polygraph tests, because,.like I said they are not normal and "devoid" of feelings.
