I had a charge, went to court, and had it dropped pre-trial. Since then I have had background checks and it's never come up. My rule of thumb, when in doubt, put it down. If the charges were dropped, they can't be used against you.

Employers, in the US, are not allowed to ask about or consider just arrests, only convictions.

Will the arrest show up? If the charges were dropped in court they might since the private data base companies get their info from the public court files.

If the charge was dropped before you ever went to court then it will not show anywhere except to legitimate law enforcement and then only as an arrest with charges dropped.

Expungement would get the arrest off of official records but has no effect on private data bases.

Some lawyers push expungment because it is a money maker for them with little time spent working.

purely for hating usa and people who seek for anger and hate on conservatives. Perez Hilton would desire to be tried on the abuse and hate he spewed at Ms. California for having an opinion that replaced right into a shame. i've got no longer heard the maximum recent on woman Liberty!

  • if you are never convicted of a crime you will not have a record of a crime
