Mankind should be judged by a combination of both intentions and results. We have to be accountable for our mistakes and shortcomings balanced by room to make mistakes along the way. We learn from our mistakes and being judged on results is the exact motivation to grow and perfect ourselves.

I will pay the person who is persuasive enough to get the deal done, whether it is teaching a class, negotiating a new contract, or selling a car. The person who cannot get the deal done, even with good intentions, needs to find a new profession.

I think it's reasonable to judge people by their intentions. It doesn't mean you support their policies or results.

Policy should be judged by results, and not intentions.

I don't get that either. I've been dragging moose carcasses and splitting logs between by thighs and buttocks. Look at these apparent results? *eyes point over to picture*
