There are many good books and interesting writers out there, thus.

But Surely, I'll say Don Quixote by Saavedra is one of my very favorite.

Why?

'cause it is a 'puff" about the social order the author used to liven in. Spain was going through so many changes; and the national values were going so bizarre that people live liked in a world of illusion of chivalry and other delusions, which the writer arranged into funny events with ingenuity, and wit.

The social reality is webbed into funny events, but the plot and the characters are knitted in a very hilarious way.

With his intensity the writer, 'tells" and describes in a supple way how ridiculous the social order of his historical time has turned into,

I laughed a lot, but I also cried because social protocols, mores, and too much of something can drive people a little 'cokoo;

Sancho Panza was a blind follower, as crazy and diluted as his master who promised him to make him a mayor to the first land they would conquer.

Then, Dulcinea del Toboso- a poor , unkept girl who don quixote 's deranged mind turned into a princess-or a beautiful well - to do lady from a rich family, who needed to be saved.

It is an intricate plot which appears to be simple only because it is funny.

You really has to know a little Spain's history and social-political development , in order to grasp the meaning behind the novel.

Don Quixote, is a poor carcass of the idealistic man who lived only by the word he reads in his books.

The best book written was/is life because its the story of us

Ayn Rand truely understands the human condition.

The best book ever written was the Ten Commandments because God literally wrote it.

No I don't. I think its horribly written, has horrible characters that are completely one dimensional, and focuses on the relationship between an over-protective, stalkerish boyfriend and his mindless girlfriend who can't see how creepy he really is.

The best book every written was How to always be on time for the bus, by justin tyme because it tells you how you can get to the bus stop, as the bus gets there.
