Should God stop the oil spill?

Shh...it's another test from the Heavenly Father. It's all part of His divine plan...

God can do anything so he could stop the oil spill. However, God usually doesn't interfere with this sort of thing! If God interfeared in things like this nothing bad would ever happen. If nothing bad ever happened we wouldn't want ot go to Heaven because earth would be just like heaven!

No, because then we would simply find some other way to ruin the planet and think that God would have to stop that way as well. Then we find another way, and then another way, etc.

God is not our servant. It's not God's responsibility to clean up every mess we make. When my kids were little and they spilled juice I made them clean it up. It taught them not to spill juice. God's not your mother following you around with a roll of paper towels going "Just wait until your father gets home."

Actually this is our planet... God created it for us to take care of... he created plants and animals and everything we could ever need... but we got selfish and wanted more... we reap what we sow.
