Which is the most difficult to believe?

A. That a loving God will torture anyone who does not become a member of the Christian faith, not any other faith, for all eternity no matter what good works they do in life.

B. That Jesus and God are the same even though Jesus prays to God, sits on God's right hand, died on the cross saying "Why did you forsake me" and did not know when he would return.

C. That when Jesus said many of those standing in front of him would see the kingdom of heaven in their lifetime, he did not mean the Resurrection. He was talking about something else.

Please don't just diss the whole Bible, make a comment of some kind.

The first one is the most difficult for me to believe. And I don't believe it. I don't believe God would hurt any of us. He's there, and He loves all of us. Equally. No matter what religion we come from, no matter what we do. I don't think He expects us to know *what* the truth is- maybe Buddhists are right, maybe Catholics are right, maybe Mormons are right. We really don't know the truth. But I do believe that God (even if He prefers being called Allah, Abba, Buddha, or Krishna) loves us. I have to believe that, looking at the amazing world around us, looking at all the second chances we're given.

    A is the most difficult.

B: We're talking about gods here, not people. Gods, by definition, can do just about anything, including split themselves into three parts and talk to each other, etc.

C: Not hard to believe at all. Jesus thought he and his followers were living in the end times.

Well, statistically people kill people they love more often than people they hate, so I guess a has A chance.

I can talk to myself and sit on my own right hand, so B is totally doable.

As for C, no one gets out of this world alive, so what else would he talking about? I pick that one.

What is most difficult to believe is that an intelligent person would still ask a question or a series of questions that has/have already been answered over and over again.

Are you aware (I doubt it) that you are contributing to the fulfillment of end time prophecy? Keep going, o.k.? God bless.

    A

Either God is evil, greedy, and hypocritical, or not real. I'd bet on not real.
