My keyboard keeps turning off. Why?
I bought a dock for my Dell XPS a couple weeks ago. Everything works fine, except for one thing... my USB keyboard quits working after a while. It just freezes up. I have to unplug it, and plug it back in to the dock before it starts working again.
It seems to occur when I step away from the computer for a while... if I take a 15-minute break or something.
FY... my power settings are set to leave everything 'ON'... in other words, the computer does not go into hibernation or anything.
Any ideas?

if your mouse or other usb device is connected to the port next to the one used for the keyboard try moving that device to another usb port. leave the usb port next to the one for the keyboard free.

discover an Apple provider middle (the two an Apple shop or a community approved outfit) and take it there to be repaired as a replace. do not enable perfect purchase attempt to repair it. The Geek Squad is crammed with idiots. even with the incontrovertible fact that, i don't think of BB expenditures restocking expenditures on defective products, so which you're able to replace it and not utilising a penalty.

maybe try plugging it in to the computer it self instead of a dock.
Hope this helps
