Which Labour leadership candidate do you think will be best for Labour?

Diane Abbott, David Miliband, Ed Miliband or Ed Balls? I think Abbot and Ed Miliband will find PMQs toughest, Balls not faring so well either. You?

I want Ed Miliband for leader he'll provide legitimacy as a serious leader but will be unable to do too much harm other than with his limp invitations to LibDems.

    None of them.

They are ALL puppets of the very same force.

    This is the truth.

I went to the Labour Candidate meeting where they all presented themselves officially in competition for leadership. At that, Ed Miliband won hands down, with all the best policies, great communication, good charisma. The other candidate I was interested in, David Miliband, kind of failed. Though technically he was sound he was from a completely different world in terms of communication. It was like he really was speaking a different language. Just goes to show what an upper class upbringing does to your people skills. However now the game has moved on, Ed is falling down in terms of some of his policies, but I think he looks better than some of the others. Balls (kind of unfortunate name) is fishy. I smell a hint of tory in him and Diane is lets face it just a gesture. So Ed Miliband has my vote and Balls boy would possibly be my second candidate coz it is pretty slim pickings.

But what happened to Labour as the revolutionary movement? What happened to radicalism, the redistribution of wealth, big charismatic PMs who we could place our confidence and hearts in? You could argue that Blair was like this but then did not deliver, and you'd be right. But COME ON! Fight the corruption, and you CAN have radical politics work! All that's stopping it is us.

None of them really. All are tainted with the regimes of Blair and Brown which they all sanctioned. Any of them will only give us more lies and sleaze. Especially Balls and Abbot.

What about this? Mickey mouse or the donkey I saw on the beach over the bank holiday named snoozy. Both of them beat anything on offer from the labour party so far. Might be a breath of fresh air and would certainly beat the shower we have in government right now.

I would probably prefer Ed Balls, but it appears it is now a two horse race. I prefer Ed Milliband over his brother as his policies are more in line with old Labour. I don't think any of them will be a patch on Brown, but any of them would be far better than Cam the Sham.

Yes, I would prefer Ed Miliband as well. He would go some way towards taking the party back to its roots and re-establishing the principles on which it was founded.

When you look at the sic devastated country that new labour left behind, you can only really think of labour as a disease, a virus......You are asking us which particular piece of rotten foul smelling pustule would be better placed to represent the rest of the disease?.....Just get rid of the disease would be my answer. New labour has done more lasting damage to this country than both world wars. liars war criminals, deceivers embezzlers traitors and parasites......The only government in British history to have manipulated a parliament and set it to destroy the very country it was supposed to serve. A government that gave Britain away to an unaccountable super power, the EU. And refused the people their rightfull referendum on it. A government whose deliberate and calculated lies sanctioned the merciless slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men women and little children, whole families huddled together in terror BLOWN TO PIECES during shock and awe......The best and certainly the most suitable candidate for new labour would be the Devil himself.

I had an answer to your question, but I find myself taking a back seat after reading the post of somebody I rarely agree with.

    Crow's answer is perfect.

"What are you talking about?" ..... "If you do know, you might let us all know what you are talking about too. .......... But Strictly speaking, there is only ONE answer to your question! & that is::; The person who the Labor Party selects! .... ( By the way, "LABOR" is how you spell Labor as in "Labor Party". ...... "LABOUR",, is when you ae talking about performoing Labour (as in work). LABOUR is also the pre birth stage of a pregnancy, although I could be wrong on that last definition?)
